Foundations for Moms

Postpartum Strength Series

We know there’s a lot of noise out there — conflicting advice, Instagram hacks, and outdated postpartum fitness myths. In this class, you’ll get real, evidence-based guidance from a specialist who knows how to safely progress your movement and tailor it to what your body truly needs.

Foundations for Moms is a small group mom and baby movement series designed specifically for postpartum recovery and strengthening, led by Dr. Rachel Cortright, our perinatal pelvic floor specialist.

We’re so excited to bringing this small group series to our clinic, starting in March!

Each 50-minute class blends breath work, core and pelvic floor integration, mobility, and whole-body strength — helping you feel more stable, connected, and confident in your body. This series offers the tools and support to help you rebuild in a way that actually works for your body.

And just as important: you won’t be doing this alone. You’ll be moving alongside a small, supportive group of moms and their babies.

While you will definitely get your sweat on, this is more than a workout. It’s a place to move and reconnect — with your core, your strength, and a community that gets it.

This postpartum series is made for you if any of this sounds familiar:

  • You’re nervous about getting back to exercise after a C-section

  • You feel pelvic heaviness or pressure when you move

  • You’re not sure how to progress your workouts

  • You’ve heard ‘engage your core and pelvic floor’ but don’t know what that actually means

  • You’re curious about diaphragmatic breathing and how it helps

  • You’ve been looking for a space in Boston to exercise with your baby
